[vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space height=”12″][vc_column_text]This activity and this place is exactly what my mother would call “culinary tourism.\u201d People at Prairie Garden, in a suburb of the city of Edmonton, work hard to provide the richest rural and culinary tourism experience for visitors. Beyond the classic kiosks selling veggie products, there is an ice cream kiosk, a shop where handmade products and homemade fudge tempt us, a mini farm with many animals, gardens to pick-your-own as well as the famous corn maze. <\/span>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=”45px”]

The animals were docile and not afraid of humans or little monsters like me. The other highlight of the visit was, of course, the corn labyrinth in which I was able to lose my mother and my grandmother who never ceased to run after me. Finally, a little ice cream to top it off was not bad either!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

We visited Prairie Garden during the Alberta Open Farm Day event and were not disappointed with everything we found in one place. The terrain is very rough, which can make walking difficult. We brought the stroller, but we had trouble in some places where there was too much rainwater and mud. However, the ground is so vast, and what to say of the labyrinth! If your children are adventurers, it is better to tie them up! I was surprised by the number of small kiosks on site and the variety of products to buy and take home.
